Kumler Outreach Ministries Pantry Partners fight hunger with a commitment to provide a week’s worth of a particular food staple to Kumler’s pantry.
All items in the Pantry Partner program are basics available to all who come to Kumler Outreach Ministries for help with food.
By becoming a Pantry Partner you join the fight against hunger in the greater Springfield area; help Kumler Outreach Ministries further stretch the dollars entrusted it; and enable the Ministries to reach more people in need.
Here’s how it works:
- A Church/group/organization decides to become a Pantry Partner
- The Pantry Partner either picks or is assigned an item depending on other participants and what is needed at the time.
- The Pantry Partner collects the item over the course of a month.
- By prior arrangement, the collection is either picked up by Kumler Outreach Ministries or delivered to the Ministries by the Pantry Partner.
The Pantry Partner item helps keep costs down and ensure availability to all using Kumler’s pantry.
Kumler Outreach Ministries can provide fun ideas for collecting food items beyond the traditional collection box.
