Food drives are an essential part of the food pantry program of Kumler Outreach Ministries. Food drives are a great group activity, get people involved, help defray costs for the Outreach Ministries and ensure there is a variety of items available for consumers using the food pantry.
A food drive can be held at a place of business, in a neighborhood, at a school or during a special event. Food drives can cover a specific period of time or be an ongoing endeavor. Kumler Outreach Ministries can provide a limited number of collection boxes upon request.
Instructions for holding a food drive in a neighborhood are available through Kumler Outreach Ministries by calling 217-523-2269 or by clicking on the instruction sheet here.
